The Department of Radiology at a major University in the Southeast seeks a full-time Breast Imager to join the Breast Imaging Section. The facility is a state-of-the-art academic medical center with a robust and lively clinical women’s imaging service. There is a very congenial, collaborative, and close relationship with women’s healthcare sections of the healthcare system and there are several interdisciplinary conferences, research collaboration, and teaching opportunities.

Applicants should be ABR-Certified or have passed the core examinations and be on track to take the certifying examination. Fellowship trained or established strong competency in women’s imaging and MQSA in breast imaging is required. Candidates must be able to collaborate and should have a strong affinity for teaching residents and fellows. Experience and interest in performing research are valued.

Located in the heart of the Southeast, the facility is a short drive from Atlanta, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Nashville, New Orleans, Memphis, and the gulf coast. Academic rank, compensation, and tenure will depend on qualifications and experience. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.

Required Qualifications

4. Must be eligible to become licensed in the State
