The Department of Radiology at a major University in the Southeast seeks is a full-time radiologist to join the Cardiopulmonary Imaging section, beginning in January 2016. The Facility is a state-of-the-art Academic Medical Center with a busy and lively clinical service consisting of six dedicated cardiopulmonary radiologists who are responsible for interpreting 145,000 chest radiographs, 25,000 chest CTs, 600 cardiac MRIs, and 250 cardiac CTs annually, in addition to performing approximately 100 thoracic interventional procedures.

The ideal candidate will have keen clinical skills, and interested in actively participating in teaching, research, and service as well as interest in collaboration with other departments. Qualified applicants should be ABR-certified or eligible, have completed fellowship training in cardiopulmonary imaging or have proficient experience in Cardiopulmonary Radiology.

Located in the heart of the Southeast, the facility is a short drive from Atlanta, Birmingham, Chattanooga, Nashville, New Orleans, Memphis, and the gulf coast. Required Qualifications

1. ABR-Certified or have passed the core examinations and be on track to take the certifying examination.

2. Fellowship trained in Cardiopulmonary Imaging.

3. CAQ or CAQ-eligible in Cardiopulmonary Imaging.

4. Must be eligible to become licensed in the State
