The Department of Radiology at a major University in the Southeast seeks a full-time faculty candidate for its Emergency Radiology Section. The section is responsible for a wide variety of CT, Ultrasound, MRI, radiographs. Candidates should have a strong interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in a high-volume trauma-driven academic environment. Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, and/or Musculoskeletal imaging is preferred. The radiologists play key roles in decision making as part of the trauma service and Emergency Department team.
The ideal candidate will have keen clinical skills, and an active interest in teaching and service. Qualified applicants should be ABR-certified or eligible, have completed fellowship training or be proficient in Diagnostic Radiology.

Academic rank, compensation, and tenure will depend on qualifications and experience. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
1. ABR-Certified or have passed the core examinations and be on track to take the certifying examination.
2. Fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, and/or Musculoskeletal imaging.
3. CAQ or CAQ-eligible in Abdominal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, and/or Musculoskeletal imaging.
4. Must be eligible to become licensed in the State
