The Department of Radiology at a major University in the Southeast seeks a full-time chief for its musculoskeletal imaging section. The section is responsible for a wide variety of diagnostic tests and procedures, with access to state-of-the-art equipment in CT, ultrasound, MRI, and fluoroscopy in modern inpatient and outpatient facilities. Candidates should have a strong interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The section chief is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of faculty performance across all academic missions (education, service, and research). The chief will provide leadership and mentorship as well as assist in or lead research collaborations.
The ideal candidate will have keen clinical skills, and an active interest in teaching, service, and research. Qualified applicants should be ABR-certified, have completed fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging or be proficient in musculoskeletal imaging and diagnostic radiology.

Academic rank, compensation, and tenure will depend on qualifications and experience. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
1. ABR-Certified or have passed the core examinations and be on track to take the certifying examination.
2. Fellowship trained in musculoskeletal imaging.
3. CAQ or CAQ-eligible in MSK
4. Must be eligible to become licensed in the State
